The Gift From a Gift

The Lord of glory will shortly march to the cross to bear the sin debt of His covenant people. Christ prays for what is already His, as do His people when they petition heaven's throne. All scripture is consistent and equal; here we are told of His great atonement but also of His ingathering of these special people.
