CRUCIFIED, CONDEMNED AND SLAIN, part 3
Text: Mark 15:15-38

Summary: The collusion of the Jews with the Romans in the condemnation and death of Christ is a reminder of the natural bent of all unregenerate humanity, whether religious by profession or not, and the necessity for the cure that only Christ can provide.

The events of the Crucifixion reveal:
I. What the Natural Man Loves: Lies, cruelty, sensationalism & self-interest.

II. What the Natural Man Hates: True righteousness (God’s), submission to divine rule, truth.

III. What the Natural Man Fears.: man more than God.

Conclusion: Christ, who triumphed over sin, Satan, & death at the Cross. “Truly, this man was the Son of God!”
