Theonomy versus Apostasy

“We Are All Theonomists Now!” Part 5 -Theonomy versus Apostasy,

1. Law is an inescapable concept in life. Every society endorses a code of ethics through their system of law. Rulers would declare themselves divine to add credence to their law system. A Caesar, Pharaoh, Emperor, or Pope would endorse the belief that they were divine. Godly Kings acknowledged God as sovereign and endorsed His law. (2 Kings 21:19-24; 22:1-13,19)
2. The Church that rejects God’s Law as the rule of life is Apostate and has become a humanistic institution. They have rejected the Word of God and are now defenseless when defending the flock. The Theonomic walls have been torn down, and the Sheep are being eaten. (Exodus 19:1-17)
3. Jesus Christ himself delivers the most famous sermon in the world, and it is a clarification of God’s Law! (Matthew 5:17-24;43-45)
4. Compare the message of Peter at Pentecost to the prayer of Rick Warren. We must stand against the Apostates. (Acts 2:36-42)
