Can we preach the gospel without dividing people? Not according to Jesus. Not according to the apostles. Our passage reveals that Paul and Barnabas divided an entire city that otherwise had peace. Was it worth it? We need to make up our minds so that we can continue to preach the gospel, even when it brings division on the earth.
