The Comfort of the Resurrection (vv. 26-27)

1 Jo. 3:2 Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is..

Psa. 17:15; 16:10-11 As for me, I shall behold your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with your likeness… 16:10 For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption. 11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Psa. 40:1-3 He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God.
