The Comfort of His Person

While the Old Testament priest was a picture of the Christ, Christ surpassed them in every way! He fulfilled the work that they had to do repeatedly. Because of the manifest perfections of both His person and His work we find in Him the comfort we so desperately need. Because of the wondrous manner in which God has fulfilled all things in Christ, we find joy, life and peace. He is all we could ever want or imagine and so much more. He has become for us the source of all good things and we are comforted by His perfections.
