A Message to His People From God

Habakkuk is one of the most interesting and passionate prophets of God to be encountered in the Old Testament. He just could not grasp how God would allow mortal people to practice every evil and wickedness with total disregard for the teachings of God. God speaks to His people daily by means of the scriptures; He also speaks to them by the marvels of His providence, both national and personal, the God of heaven also speaks to mortals by His Holy Spirit who strives with en who hear but refuse to obey. Mortals reject God's messengers and despise His teachings; they forget His words and listen to carnal foolishness. God still speaks to His people, to His preachers, and to His churches.
