Ready for God

Elisha must be ready for difficult times—just like Elijah before him. But he is more than eager. Only God can meet the need of his nation and he wants everyone to know the truth of this. He prepares the way for us who know God through Jesus Christ. We want the world, and sometimes, the church, to know how richly God has blessed us in Christ. We are ready, we know we are part of a wonderful community God is raising up, and we especially know we are entirely dependent on God's powerful Spirit.
