Memory Verses: Ephesians 4:29

Day 1: Read Luke 8:26-39 and discuss: If you were not familiar with this passage, what might you expect the demon to say to Jesus? What does the demon actually say to Jesus? What does the demon's question reveal about his theology?

Day 2: Read Luke 8:26-39 and discuss: Why are demons called "unclean" spirits? What significance does "uncleanliness" have for understanding this label? What other biblical terms are synonymous with this term?

Day 3: Read Luke 8:26-39 and discuss: Why does Jesus want to cast the demons out of the man? What attribute of God does Jesus demonstrate through casting the demons out? Have you considered that God wants to demonstrate that same attribute in your own life? In what specific areas of your life do you think God wants to work in your life?
