Family Worship Guide
Memory Verses: Psalm 91:1-2

Day 1: Read Luke 9:1-6 and discuss: Regarding the first lesson, what are some examples from elsewhere in Scripture that God equips those whom He calls? What can you glean from these examples? Why does it matter to us, today, that Jesus told the apostles not to bring anything with them?

Day 2: Read Luke 9:1-6 and discuss: Why does Jesus give them different instructions in 9:36-38? What are some examples of situations where God said one thing to someone and something else to another person, a little later on?

Day 3: Read Luke 9:1-6 and discuss: Out of all the tasks Jesus gave the apostles, which was the most important? What characteristics made a host worthy of the gospel and of the apostles lodging with them?
