How the Dead in Adam Find Life in Christ

Genesis 5 is the generations of Adam, the lineage which brings hope of redemption. This chapter has a resounding note - "and he died." However, there are also three notes of grace. Not even our sin can thwart God's purpose. He is working to restore life and fill the world with His image-bearers. Another note of grace is Enoch's life, which is a picture of the blessed life, of walking by faith with God. Noah is the third note of grace, who points to a promise of rest fulfilled in Christ.
