The Glory of the Resurrection

'Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter His glory?' The Father’s glorifying of the Son was not just a nice bonus after a difficult project, or touching thought after a trying ordeal. It was not even a welcome home after a last minute rescue. It was the planned revelation of the power of God’s holy love to totally obliterate the effects of our sin from His creation and from our hearts forever by glorifying His Son through a cross and through an empty tomb!
