The Mysterious Power of God's Word

Again on the theme of sowing the Word in the hearts of man. When the Word of God first enters in, and then continues to enter in, by the means that God has ordained - through the preaching of His Word, it reveals that it has an intrinsic power. Essentially, that power is a hidden power, because it is a spiritual power. We understand that the Lord has provided various means of Grace for the conversion and edification of His people, and yet how they have their miraculous effect, is beyond our understanding.:
