Gladly Being Spent for the Gospel
Series Book of Acts
23
Paul had one mission in mind, being compelled by Christ's love, to live for the Gospel. Everything he did was tinged with the mission of Christ, all for the glory of Christ. Rightly seeing Christ has the power to radically change our lives. Obedience becomes more important than safety. When we see Christ rightly, the growth and health of His church becomes more important than the comfort of our flesh. The safety of the church is of first importance, so a plurality of elders must be set up to guard the church. The joy of Christ's church is more important than self. Only by looking to Jesus can we live for Jesus.
