Standing or Falling

The loud fool is so confident in the things in which he considers himself an authority. He has high opinions that assault even the throne of God. Yet when he must stand before God, he finds himself powerless to even raise himself to his feet.
In total contrast is the man whose delight is in the word of God. He may not seem to be making an impression, yet he possesses rare treasures that will never be taken away from him.
