FPC70#1 St. Patrick's Day in Crossgar

250 ( 137 | 113 )

On 17 March 1849, the village of Crossgar (County Down, Northern Ireland) was the stage for a political battle; just over 100 years later, again on St. Patrick's Day, 17 March 1951, a spiritual battle was waged. The latter date is when the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster was formed.
