We've got a double problem in that we deserve judgment and lack the righteousness that God requires. The Bible says that Christ is the answer to that dilemma. He shed His blood and offered that life up as a sacrifice to a holy God to satisfy, to quench, to turn away the wrath of God from sinners like you and me.
