Glory to My Divine Refuge

Many totally misunderstand life. Your troubles are not mainly about you. They are about God, whether for the glory of His mercy or His justice.
God be praised for my safety from enemies.
The refrain: soli Deo gloria (vv. 5, 11). The glory of God alone is what ultimately matters.
I.The Calamity (vv. 1, 3, 4, 6). Depraved human enemies.
II.The Cry (vv. 1, 2). “Be merciful unto me, O God.”
III.The Confidence (vv. 1, 3). “He shall send from heaven, and save me.”
The Celebration (vv. 7–10). “I will sing and give praise.”
