Hosanna in the Highest

Throughout the Old Testament, God has promised that a Man-Child is coming to crush the head of the serpent. God had promised that the Seed of Abraham would be born and be an international blessing. God had promised that a Prophet would arise from the nation and He was to be heard. God had promised that a king was coming to sit on David’s throne forever. The days had come. Jesus last days on earth were upon him. The hour had come, and the King prepares to enter His city. Do you know that the King is coming? He said He was coming back. I pray we can catch fire from the enthusiasm of the crowd that welcomed Jesus and praise Jesus in the purity and simplicity of the little children we find in this lesson. This morning, the title is, “Hosanna in the Highest.” We will consider the following 1) The Humility of the King 2) the Honor of the King and 3) The Holiness of the King.
