God's promises should be enough to gain our trust, but God goes beyond offering His promises, He guards and guarantees them. His gospel promises are sealed by the Holy Spirit. The third section of Paul's "Call to Worship" anthem of Ephesians 1:3-14 ends with a stanza dedicated to the sealing and assuring ministry of the Holy Spirit. We'll consider these truths: when the Spirit is given to every Christian (v.13); what the Spirit does for every Christian (vv.13-14) and why the Spirit is given to every Christian (v.14).
