Christian View of Economics

Sermon: Dr. Kennedy shows that as a nation we have strayed from a biblical view of economics and reaping the negative consequences. Dr. D. James Kennedy, takes a look at the economic freedom we’re losing as the government takes from some to give to others in the name of “charity”—which it was never designed to do. Here’s his important message, “The Christian View of Economics.” --- Feature: As you’re about to see, government is given by God. But God has designed the realm of the civil government in a very specific way, to fulfill only certain functions. When it breaks out of the boundaries God has set for it, the results are not good. As of now, the government is increasingly usurping God. When our first fruits are taken by the government, we begin to expect government to provide our daily bread rather than looking to the Lord. The hand of the federal government is now in virtually every area of our lives, from our health care to our light bulbs to our bathroom plumbing. Let’s take a closer look.
