Thoughts About Passion Week

In this talk, Dr. Whitcomb discusses the confusion that surrounded the nation of Israel, the apostles – Judas in particular – and satan during the week of Jesus' Passion. He assures us, however, that there was no confusion among the three Members of the Godhead, Who had planned for the events of that week for all eternity.
“Total confusion reigned in the nation, which caused Jesus genuinely to weep,” Dr. Whitcomb said. “Israel will continue in its spiritual darkness until Jesus comes back to establish His kingdom. Judas was totally confused. Satan didn't know whether he wanted Jesus to die or not to die. If satan had only known, he would never have let Judas Iscariot betray Him. Only the God of heaven knew the purpose, the plan, the outcome of what was going to happen.”
