5. Freedom—Won and Given

Freedom is great to have but hard to make. We need to be set free—by what Christ does on his cross—not by the schemes we dream up. If we're forgiven, and cleansed, we have a clear conscience. And because Christ took us with him when he died, even our remaining nasty side has a new master. Here is authentic freedom, and the seeds of a new world.
