Roles of Women in Ministry of Christ's Church, part 1
Series Church Officers
Before discussing the identity of the women in 1 Tim 3:11,
it is necessary to quickly survey the God-created and -intended
differences of men and women (especially in a society and even
in the church where the differences are denied or scoffed at)
and the resulting differences in the roles of men and women
in the home and in the church. Though women are not to hold
an office in the church, nor to have authority over or teach men
in the church, there is a vast array of opportunities for women to
serve in the church--which we will see next week!
