Many do not understand the function of the Law and the relation of the believer to the Law in the face of Christ.
The woman caught in adultery came to Christ? But she did not bring herself to Christ. She did not choose or decide her way to Christ.
She was caught in the very act-doing/plying her own business/trade of sinning. God caused her to be caught in the very act. God is He who brought her to Christ.
She had learned from the Father. You cannot come to Christ unless God teaches you. Where did God find you?
