The Fool's Contempt for Wisdom

26

Ever tried to reason with one you thought was a fool? To argue or attempt to reason with a fool, according to Proverbs 26:4, makes the wise to be like unto the fool. We read from 1 Kings 21:1-14 for our first-hour reading seeing an example of a wise man that falls to the hand of the fool in this life; however, King Ahab the fool is the one that ends in eternal death. In our wisdom series, Pastor Simpson has labored to provide Biblical examples and teachings of the contrast between the fool and the wise. May God help His people to desire Biblical wisdom and avoid worldly foolishness.
