The Human Transformer - God's Word

God’s Word is so powerful that it can transform human hearts and lives so that we become more like Jesus. The writer of Hebrews gives us three reasons why the Bible may be considered a human transformer. First, it is alive as it is seen in believers. Second, it is active as it works in believers to teach and equips us, and through believers as it prepares us to do good works. Third, at it works like a double-edged sword, exposing our sinful condition and convincing us of our need to be transformed to be like Jesus.
