The Day of Pentecost

Big Events: We briefly consider the incredible events of the Day of Pentecost. A day in which the Holy Spirit was given, chiefly to the apostles. Visitors to Jerusalem heard them speak in languages which were not their own, languages in which they declared the wonderful works of God. The effects of this great event are still being felt today.
