In Revelation 5, the apostle John weeps at the thought of a world without anyone to carry out to the decrees of God. His sorrow is cut short at the sight of Jesus: the Lion of Judah and the lamb that was slain. In all of heaven and earth, only Jesus is worthy to open the 7 seals of the divine plan for history. This realisation causes all of heaven to break out in self-forgetful worship.
