Why Acts?

We looked at the opening verses of Acts 1. We saw the reason for Luke writing this book. It was to set in order a declaration of the things which are surely believed among us. The book of Acts is all about Christ and the establishment of his Kingdom. We saw how the Lord uses weak vessels to achieve his purposes. The Lord is building His Church. Here in the 21st Century this promise is still being fulfilled. The Gospel message does not change, Man does not change, his need does not change and neither does the power of the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive, redeem, cleanse and fill his people.
