The expression "that there should be time no longer" does not mean that time ceases. If so, why speak of the days of the seventh angel in the following verse and that John would be "prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings"? This phrase is telling us that we are coming to the end of the age just prior to the coming of Christ.
