Sin Is the Enemy of God

Most people in our society and culture do not understand sin; they think of sin as some horrible, obnoxious act that repulses almost all human beings. But sin is far worse then that; sin is anything less then the holy perfection of deity. God gave the law as a declaration of His righteous standard; it has no saving capacity for any who break this law; the law is a statement of God's exacting standard of attitude and conduct. The sinfulness of sin is contrary to the requirement of God but also a condemnation of sinful flesh. Sin is obnoxious to and worthy of the hatred of God and man. Humanity may hate sin and God hates no one except for their sin.
