Connected to the Head

God's people at times are full of activity but are really dead because they are not connected to their Head, Jesus Christ. The shadow cast by Christ in the ceremonies of the Old Covenant have been replaced by Christ, Himself. Neither are we to substitute emotional activity for our union with Christ. Rules and regulations will not deliver us. Only Christ dies for our sins and leads us to glory.
