• Discipline
• Instruction

UNDERSTANDING TERMS

• Raise children to fear Lord
• Instruct in Scriptures
• Raise with discipline and correction
• raise them "IN" the Lord (all the time)
• "inside" : raise them imbued, imbibed,
  implanted, immersed, buried, baptized,
  soaked. Everything saturated in Lord.
• ex: rod of correction is to point to gospel
• instruction is total immersion:
  children and parents

FOCUS OF ALL IS THE GOSPEL

• Field of instruction is width of Bible
• Can't miss point of Bible then : Jesus
