God's redemptive program has powerful symbols. Genesis 17 teaches us that God's covenant includes the members of a believer's household. All of them carry the mark of the covenant. Whether covenant is new to you or you have embraced it for years, may the sign of God's covenant be both a comfort and a challenge. It comforts us because it confirms we are His. It challenges us to live for Christ.
