Daniel 1:1-4

We begin our study of the Book of Daniel with the first four verses which introduce us to the backdrop of the entire book, that is the Babylonian Captivity as Nebuchadnezzar sacks Jerusalem and carries off Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah to Babylon.

We will see Jesus Christ REBUKE liberal scholars. And we will try to appreciate the destruction of Solomon's Temple, the center of Jewish life in the 6th century BC.
