Being a Humble Doer of the Word

Amongst the lessons taught by the Apostle is the importance of being doers of the Word not hearers only. We learn how to approach the Word of God, how to apply it, the significance of having a teachable spirit and of learning the lessons of true humility. We are encouraged to be good and careful listeners and to avoid harsh and ill-chosen words. Hearing of the Word of Truth must lead to action.
