From Daniel To Revelation

In the headlines today, news comes from afar about the very real potential for nuclear war, Russia invading Ukraine, World War III, and about a dozen other things that feel like they're more from scripture than they are the newspaper. That's because much of what is happening right now is rooted an anchored in end times Bible prophecy. Jesus gave us the heads-up when He told us that, if we really wanted to understand the end times, we should start with the prophet Daniel. Funny thing, the book of Daniel is the exact key that unlocks the secrets of Revelation. Imagine that.

"But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:" Mark 13:14 (KJB)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we do indeed pay a visit to the prophet Daniel, and as it turns out, he is more than happy to give up the secrets of his 7-sealed book that he was told to close in chapter 12. What is in this book? All the highlights of the back half of the time of Jacob's trouble, also known as the great Tribulation, which just coincidentally happens to be the main subject of the book of Revelation. Daniel writes about things that, on the surface, are quite mysterious, so does Revelation, but when you put the two books together, they combust to form revealed future history that we call prophecy.
