III. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

45 ( 32 | 13 )

When God brought destruction on the Earth at the time of the Great Flood, His judgment was direct and immediate. Although God commissioned Noah to preach for a hundred-years warning people to repent and be saved, they did not. God's judgment in the flood came immediately with no further time to repent and be saved. Billions died and went to Hell.

During the seven-year Tribulation on Earth, God's judgment is indirect and progressive. God releases His restraint on evil ("the mystery of inequity") and the evil within humanity will destroy themselves along with the demonic forces of evil. Yet, with the catastrophic events taking place in the world, there will still be opportunity for people to repent, believe, confess, call, and receive Jesus Christ to be "born again." Although most of humanity will die in their sins rejecting Christ, there will be many Jews and Gentiles saved during these seven years. We know this because those "born again" during the Tribulation and who are killed will be resurrected and glorified at the second coming of Christ (Revelation 20:4-6). Those "born again" during the Tribulation who survive will go into the Kingdom Age in physical bodies and repopulate the Earth during Kingdom Age.
