Religious And Righteous Are Not The Same

Micah's mother did a wicked act when she took silver to make an idol, God forbids the worshiping of idols. Micah then sets up one of his sons as a priest. Today, lots of people have people who are a go between them and God. There are tons of people who are extremely religious who have no relationship with God. You must be born again. People can be religious and yet be disobedience toward God, they are not Christians. False religion, like witchcraft, is about trying to control God. Those who practice such things are trying to get God to do what they want Him to do instead of doing what God commands. Priests for hire tell people what they want to hear, unfortunately religion is big business. If we use something to try to get power from God, we are in serious trouble. We must worship God in Spirit and in truth, God is Spirit. There is One God and One Mediator, the Man Christ Jesus. When Jesus saves us, He changes us. Lots of people really don't want to be saved, they just want to be forgiven. Jesus died so that we can live a new kind of life, more and more, and more like Him. One can be religious and not righteous. We are not trapped by our genealogy, we all will have to give an account to the Lord for what we do.
