We continue in our study of "We've Been Expecting You" III, the second coming of Jesus Christ, by following material in the book by Greg Harris, entitled "The Stone and the Glory." Both the sovereignty of God and His utter faithfulness to His Word (esp. to His covenant promises start to become more evident as we follow the trail of the Stone Prophecies of Jesus. The rebuilt Temple will play a strategic role in the person and work of Jesus.
In 2 Samuel 7 God allowed His house to be built; in Haggai 1 He demands that it does because, after all, He has many, many promises to keep in both the first and second advent of "the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel" (Gen. 49:24)
