Exalting Christ in Our Lives, Part I

Main Idea: The temptation to think of ourselves as more than mere vessels that God uses to carry out His perfect plan is great and impedes our faithfulness, therefore, fight to remain faithful through it by ministering to yourself with the biblical facts about our calling.
I. The Lord has an agenda and will fulfill it (22).
II. The has called individuals after Him as His instruments to carry out His will (23-24).
III. There comes with this the call to carry out God's will a temptation to think of ourselves and our individual calling more highly than we ought to think (25-26).
IV. Fight to remain faithful through the temptation by ministering to yourself with the biblical facts about God's calling (27-30).
