We live in a time when honesty is rare, when truth is under attack and when the value of a man's word is less than zero. Affirmations are dismissed out of hand because the hearer has no expectation of anyone speaking truth and it has infected our entire culture with a deep and deadly miasma. This is truly the flavor of the culture, and sadly in many ways the flavor of the church as well…
