Lk 13 28-30 Are Few Being Saved

21 ( 12 | 9 )

To miss the narrow door, whether by ignorance/procrastination or will, is to be shut out. Those who are shut out will discover that, even if they thought otherwise, they are not related to the Master. He will not know where they are from. This is a way of saying, "To whose family do you belong? It is certainly not mine."

Some will hear a gospel message that is not true to the gospel. Some will miss out because they have chosen not to hear. Whatever the reason, they will be shut out.

To the surprise of many Jews, there will be many from the gentiles who are welcomed into the feast while many Jews are excluded.

In the wonder of the revealed-mystery of the church, there will be only one body, made up of both Jews and Gentiles, brought together by the blood of Christ.
