Exodus 18, Luke 21, Job 36, 2 Corinthians 6
In today's narration, we have a few things to take notice of.
In Exodus, we have the foundation for civil magistrates, established in the council given to Moses by his father-in-law, Jethro (verses 14-26). This is the character of men that should be placed in charge.
In Luke, we have the prophecy of the Destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem (that which declares the end of the Old Testament economy).
In 2 Corinthians 6, we have the exhortation of the Apostle Paul, to recognize and come out of false churches. Churches that preach doctrines that are NOT preached by the Apostles.
