God truly deserves our blessing! The Greek for “blessed” (1:3) is eulogétos which literally means “good words”. Enough good words cannot be said about what God has done for us in Christ. The doctrine of election and predestination bewilders many people, but properly understood it will result in causing you to bless God for it.
