The Kingdom Established - 2

In these chapters we see the ugliness of sin and we also see

1. The Frailties of the King - David demonstrates great strengths but also significant weakness, and we are reminded that David is not an end in himself but shows the need for a perfect King to come
2. The Mysteries of God - God brings David to the throne and God brings Jesus to the cross, and in both cases He mysteriously uses the wickedness of men to fulfill His good and glorious plan.
