Saul becomes King Part 2

Continuing the study in the first book of Samuel, Saul is examined on his becoming king. In part one, the preparation of Saul was looked at, now in part two the coronation of Saul is studied.

2. CORONATION OF SAUL
   i) The setting of it.
   The people chose the one God has previously anointed

ii) The singularity of it.
Saul in his modesty hides himself from the crowds

iii) The support of it.
Saul has a band of men, loyal to him becoming king.

iv) The snub of it.
Some “no-gooders” openly despise and snub him, but Saul ignores them.
