Listening to God

The Preacher in this book exhorts us to "guard our steps" when we go to the "house of God"...and then listen. The term "house of God" is fetched from the scriptures to show how it has evolved. Today, the people of God are themselves the house of God. Guarding our steps means being prepared to worship the most high God. Primarily, the best act of worship a man can do is simply to listen to God's word read and faithfully preached. It is in listening that he can be changed into greater Christ-likeness.
