Refutation of the THEISTIC EVOLUTION of Hugh Ross - His Biblical Compromises

218 ( 192 | 26 )

"In Defense of the Faith" crew as they present yet another radio broadcast. The special guest for this presentation is Jim Stambaugh, staff librarian for the Institute for Creation Research (website: http://www.ICR.ORG), contributor for ICR publications, Christian apologist & is one who has actually debated Hugh Ross.

Hugh Ross has a PhD in astronomy and astrophysics, has a ministry called "Reasons To Believe," & has written many books such as "Fingerprint of God," "The Creator & the Cosmos," & "Beyond the Cosmos" that promotes progressive and day-age forms of old Earth creationism & Biblical reinterpretation to fit his view (such as Noah's Flood was only a local flood & not global & that humanoids existed before Adam). Ross believes that science teaches an old age of the earth and an old age of the universe, based on things he studied & believed when he was 17 years old before his "conversion." Ross claims to have become a Christian when he was 19 years old but he claims that he never met another Christian until 8 years later when he was 27 years old. His conversion testimony is very suspect to say the least & his beliefs are predicated on what he believed before he supposedly became a Christian (1 Corinthians 2:14). Christians are to believe the Word of God (2 Timothy 3:15-17) not reinvent to it to fit personal belief in so-called "scientific" theory (2 Peter 3:16). Ross' unBiblical beliefs fit the heretical Trinity Broadcasting Network well.

Ross seems to be an "evolutionary mole" in the Christian community teaching his own version of theistic evolution (punctuated equilibrium with variations).
